The NovaStar VX2000 Pro is an all-in-one LED display controller and video processor that combines processing and sending in a single 2U device. It drives the wall over 20 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus 4 OPT optical-fiber ports, loading up to 13 million pixels, and runs as a video controller, fiber converter, or bypass. On the input side it takes DP 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0, 4x HDMI 1.3 and 12G-SDI up to 4K×2K@60Hz. It provides 12 × 2K×1K layer resources — create layers as 4K×2K, 4K×1K or 2K×1K — with output scaling, HDR10/HLG, 10/12-bit color, screen genlock, source hot-backup and 256 presets. Control via the front panel, NovaLCT, the Unico web page, or the VICP app — built for high-end rental, staging, broadcast and fixed installations.
Ideal Applications
Perfect for a wide range of professional LED display scenarios
Why the VX2000 Pro?
The VX2000 Pro folds a video processor and an LED sending system into one 1U box. Instead of a separate scaler/switcher feeding separate sending cards, it ingests your sources (DP, HDMI, 12G-SDI), composes layers from 12 × 2K×1K layer resources, and drives the wall directly over 20 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus 4 optical-fiber ports — up to 13 million pixels.
That all-in-one design is why it's a fixture on high-end rental, staging and broadcast jobs: fewer boxes to rack and sync, HDR10/HLG with 10/12-bit color, screen genlock and source hot-backup for reliability, and control from the front panel, NovaLCT, the Unico web UI, or the VICP app.

| Mode | What it does | Latency |
|---|---|---|
| Video Controller | Full processing - layers, scaling, crop, colour management. The default, and what you buy the box for. | 1-2 frames low latency / 2-3 standard |
| Fiber Converter | Converts between optical and electrical with no processing - the box becomes a CVT-class converter. | 0 frames |
| ByPass | Sends the source straight to the cabinets with video processing switched off. Lowest possible delay for live camera-to-wall work. | 0 frames low latency / 1 standard |
| Genlock and low latency are not mutually exclusive in Video Controller mode, but cannot both be enabled in ByPass mode. | ||
