The VX600 Pro is an all-in-one controller combining video processing and video control functionalities into a single device. Equipped with 6 Ethernet ports, it supports three working modes: video controller, fiber converter, and ByPass. Capable of managing up to 3.9 million pixels, the VX600 Pro can output at a maximum width of 10,240 pixels and a height of 8,192 pixels, making it perfectly suited for controlling ultra-wide and ultra-high LED screens on-site. The VX600 Pro boasts powerful video signal reception and processing capabilities, supporting a maximum resolution of 4K×2K@60Hz for video input. It can handle multiple video signal inputs and includes features like 6 layers, output scaling, low latency and pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration.

Key Features

Drives active 3D glasses through a 3D emitter. Side-by-Side and Top-and-Bottom sources halve the output capacity.

Genlock

Locks output timing to an external sync reference (bi-level or tri-level) so the wall stays in step with cameras and other devices on the same clock.

10G Fiber

10G optical I/O - single-mode twin-core reaches 10 km, multi-mode 300 m. SFP modules are not fitted at the factory.

Light Sensor

Takes an ambient light sensor so screen brightness follows the room or the daylight instead of being set by hand.

Free Layout

Cabinets can sit anywhere on the canvas rather than on a strict grid, and port capacity counts the cabinets you actually hang instead of the rectangle enclosing them.

Low Latency

Shortens the processing pipeline for live camera-to-wall work. Mutually exclusive with some scaling and effect features.

Color Calibration

Per-pixel correction of the brightness and colour differences between modules and cabinets, so a wall built from mixed batches reads as one panel.

12-bit

12-bit per-channel processing - finer gradients and more detail in the low greys than 8-bit, which is where LED banding usually shows.

Operating the VX600 Pro

The VX600 Pro is set up and run from NovaStar's Unico software, in the browser at the controller's own address - no dongle, no licence. These are its eight workspaces, with Unico's own icons.

DeviceFirmware, network, working mode, sync source and output frame rate, HDCP and clock - the box itself.

LayoutThe canvas and what sits on it: screens, layers, sizing, crops and z-order.

CorrectionBrightness and chroma calibration across cabinets and modules, and seam correction where panels meet.
