What is the difference between the NovaStar TB30 and TB40?
Both run the same quad-core ARM A55 processor with 2x Gigabit Ethernet outputs, but the TB40 doubles the loading capacity — 1.3 million pixels vs 0.65 million — and adds a live HDMI 1.3 input plus an HDMI monitoring output. If your content is playlists published over ViPlex, the TB30 is enough; if you need to plug in a laptop or camera, choose the TB40 or TB50.
What is the difference between TB and T models (TB40 vs T40)?
TB models are the finished, enclosed players. The matching T versions — T30, T40, T50, and T60 — are the same electronics as a bare, DC-powered board for OEM integration: mounting the player inside a poster screen, kiosk, or scoreboard enclosure. Loading capacity and software are identical; only the enclosure and power input differ.
Which Taurus players have an HDMI input?
The TB40, TB50, and TB60 (plus the T40/T50/T60 board versions) each carry 1x HDMI 1.3 input for synchronous playback from a computer or camera. The TB10 Plus, TB20 Plus, and TB30 have no video input — content is published to onboard storage over Wi-Fi or LAN.
