The MX_1xDP 1.4 (8K@60Hz) Input Card is a single-connector DisplayPort 1.4 ingest module for NovaStar MX-Series COEX controllers (MX2000 Pro and MX6000 Pro), delivering 8K capture up to 7680Ă—4320@60Hz over one cable. It is the only card in the MX 8K input family that sustains 8K at a full 60Hz refresh, with HDR10, HLG, and HDCP 2.3. Custom resolutions and frame-rate adaptation make it ideal for the largest single-source LED canvases.

Perfect for a wide range of professional LED display scenarios
Why 8K DisplayPort 1.4 at 60Hz for an LED wall?
Large fine-pitch walls quickly exceed 4K in total pixels, and stitching multiple lower-resolution feeds introduces seams, tearing, and sync drift. A single DisplayPort 1.4 connection carries a full 7680×4320 image, so one cable from one source maps cleanly across the entire canvas — far simpler to commission than a multi-input mosaic.
Refresh rate matters as much as resolution on LED. At 60Hz this card keeps fast motion and on-air content smooth and judder-free, which is why it sits at the top of the MX 8K input range. Pairing 8K with 60Hz, HDR10/HLG, and HDCP 2.3 lets the MX2000 Pro or MX6000 Pro accept premium protected 8K sources; note that YCbCr 4:2:0 inputs and some high-rate modes require forced resolution settings.

- Supports HDR10 and complies with SMPTE ST 2084 and SMPTE ST 2086 standards
- Supports HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma)
- HDCP 2.3 compliant, backwards compatible with HDCP 2.2/HDCP 1.4/HDCP 1.3
- Supports preset resolutions up to 7680Ă—4320@60Hz
- Supports custom input resolutions
- Does not support interlaced signal inputs
- Recommend using UGREEN DP 8K 1.5m cable (cables up to 3 meters supported)
- The table above only displays a selection of common resolutions and integer frame rates. Decimal frame rates are also supported, allowing for automatic frame rate adaptation from the highest frame rate of each resolution down to 23.98/29.97/47.95/59.94/71.93/119.88/143.86 Hz
- When using YCbCr 4:2:0 input, all frame rates need to be forced. Standard graphics cards only support a 4K resolution at 50/60 Hz. Other resolutions and frame rates require a source device that supports this color space and sampling to be forced.

Preguntas frecuentes
What is the maximum resolution and refresh rate?
Up to 7680×4320 (8K) at 60Hz over its single DP 1.4 connector — the only card in the MX 8K input family that reaches a full 60Hz at 8K.
Which processors is it compatible with?
The NovaStar MX-Series COEX controllers — MX2000 Pro and MX6000 Pro.
Does it support HDR?
Yes — HDR10 (SMPTE ST 2084 / ST 2086) and HLG.
What about content protection (HDCP)?
It is HDCP 2.3 compliant and backward compatible with HDCP 2.2, 1.4, and 1.3.
Can I use custom or portrait resolutions?
Yes — custom resolutions up to 7680 px wide or 7680 px tall, so it works for landscape, portrait, and ultrawide walls. Interlaced signals are not supported.
Why might a resolution or frame rate need to be 'forced'?
When using YCbCr 4:2:0 input, frame rates need to be forced. Many graphics cards only output 4K at 50/60Hz natively, so other modes require a capable source set via forced timing.
