Why fiber input for your LED wall?
Copper has limits — once a source is more than a few dozen meters away, HDMI and even SDI become unreliable. Fiber solves that: it carries high-bandwidth video over hundreds of meters (multi-mode) or up to 10 km (single-mode), immune to electrical interference.
With four 10G optical ports, independent and mosaic modes, and automatic source detection, this card is built for big installs where the processor and the sources live far apart — stadiums, touring rigs, and fiber-distributed NovaStar systems.

How far can fiber run?
With multi-mode (SR) modules, up to a few hundred meters; with single-mode (LR) modules, up to 10 km — far beyond what HDMI or SDI coax can reach.
What resolution does each port support?
Each of the four 10G OPT ports supports up to 4096x2160@30Hz, and the card supports 144Hz input.
What are independent and mosaic modes?
Independent mode treats each input separately; mosaic mode stitches inputs into a larger canvas. Note that in Independent mode only two OPT ports (OPT 1-2 or OPT 3-4) can be used for SL input.
What optical modules are needed?
SFP+ modules — multi-mode 10G SFP+ SR for shorter runs or single-mode 10G SFP+ LR for long runs.
Does it detect the source automatically?
Yes — it automatically identifies input source resolution and color space. Manual input resolution settings are not allowed.
Which processors is this card compatible with?
It works in the H2, H5, H9, H15 and H20 modular video wall processors, using one input slot.
