The MCTRL610 was a compact sending box in NovaStar's 600-class M3 family, distinguished from the DVI-only MCTRL600 of its era by an HDMI input. It loaded up to 2048x1152@60Hz (about 2.3 million pixels) with 18-bit grayscale processing and 12-bit/10-bit HD source support. NovaStar has discontinued the MCTRL610; the MCTRL660 Pro is the current controller in this class.
The MCTRL610 is discontinued. Its current successor is the MCTRL660 Pro — 3.9 million pixels, 6 Ethernet ports plus dual 10G fiber, HDMI/DVI/3G-SDI inputs, and current firmware support.
