Why an HDBaseT output card?
HDMI cables become unreliable past about 15 meters. HDBaseT solves that by sending video over ordinary Cat5e/6 twisted-pair cabling for much longer distances (up to roughly 100 m), to a matching HDBaseT receiver at the far end.
