NovaStar H_16xRJ45+2xFiber Output Card
A 4K LED sending card for H-Series processors that drives your LED panels over 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus two backup-capable 10G fiber outputs. It loads up to 10.4 million pixels, supports 144Hz output and Ethernet-port backup, and occupies two card slots. Compatible with the H2, H5, H9, H15 and H20 modular video wall processors.
Retail first-order promo only. Dealer, custom-pricing, and terms accounts cannot combine this with special pricing.
Ideal Applications
Perfect for a wide range of professional LED display scenarios
Large fixed installations and stadiums
Rental/staging needing long fiber runs alongside copper
High-frame-rate broadcast LED walls
Deployments mixing short copper and long fiber distribution
Why a sending card with both Ethernet and fiber?
A sending card is what actually drives the LED panels β it sends the processed image from the H-Series processor out to the receiving cards in the panels. Gigabit Ethernet is perfect for the short cable runs inside or near a wall, where each port carries up to 650,000 pixels.
Fiber is added for distance and redundancy: the two 10G OPT ports mirror the Ethernet groups, so you can run signal hundreds of meters (multi-mode) or kilometers (single-mode) to a remote wall, or use them as backup paths. Ethernet-port backup keeps the picture up if a cable fails.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pixels can this card drive?
Up to 10,400,000 pixels, with a maximum width and height of 10,240 pixels.
What is the per-port capacity?
Each Gigabit Ethernet port carries 650,000 pixels at 8-bit, or 320,000 pixels at 10-bit color depth.
What are the two fiber ports for?
OPT 1 copies and outputs the data on Ethernet ports 1β8 and OPT 2 copies ports 9β16, letting you extend those runs over fiber (single- or multi-mode) or use them as backup paths.
Does it support output backup?
Yes β it supports backup between Ethernet ports, plus 144Hz output.
How many slots does it use?
It occupies two card slots in the processor.
Which processors is it compatible with?
The H2, H5, H9, H15 and H20 modular video wall processors.
