The XC160 is a general small receiving card developed by NovaStar. A single XC160 loads up to 256×256 pixels. Supporting various functions such as pixel level brightness and chroma calibration, quick adjustment of dark or bright lines, and 3D, the XC160 can greatly improve the display effect and user experience. The XC160 uses DDR2 connector for co mmunication, resulting in good compatibility. It supports up to 32 groups of parallel RGB data or 64 groups of serial data, and is suitable to various on-site setups.

Drives active 3D glasses through a 3D emitter. Side-by-Side and Top-and-Bottom sources halve the output capacity.

The XC160 is configured with an RCFG configuration file loaded through NovaLCT (Screen Configuration, Receiving Card, Load Configuration File, then Save to Hardware). Your module or sign manufacturer supplies the file, or read it back from a working card. Olympian LED hosts a free browser-based RCFGX viewer at olympianled.com/tools/rcfgx-viewer to inspect any config file.

The XC160 works with the full NovaStar sending lineup: VX all-in-one controllers, COEX MX controllers, MCTRL sending boxes, and Taurus multimedia players. Match the receiving-card firmware to your driver IC generation.
