Up to 6.5 million pixels (max 8192×7680) over 10 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, with 2× 10G fiber optical ports for long runs. That covers most rental walls and mid-size fixed installations — with no rectangle restriction, so irregular shapes use the full pixel budget.
What's the difference between the MX30, MX20, and MX40 Pro?
All three are COEX Series LED display controllers running VMP software. The MX20 (6× Ethernet, 3.9M pixels) is the entry point, the MX30 (10× Ethernet, 6.5M pixels, more inputs including 2× 3G-SDI) is the mid-tier, and the MX40 Pro (20× Ethernet, 9M pixels, 12G-SDI, Image Booster 2.0) is the flagship. What software configures the MX30?
NovaStar VMP (Vision Management Platform) — not NovaLCT. VMP handles screen configuration, color management, presets, and firmware updates for the whole COEX family.
Is the MX30 suitable for xR and virtual production?
Yes — Genlock synchronization, adaptive frame rates, HDR10/HLG, and low-latency processing make it a popular mid-budget choice for xR stages and broadcast studios. If you need 12G-SDI input or more than 6.5M pixels, step up to the MX40 Pro.
