The A9s is a high-capacity receiving card from NovaStar designed for premium LED display applications. A single A9s loads up to 512×512 pixels (PWM IC), providing excellent capacity for high-resolution LED modules. The card features pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration for uniform image quality across the display and 3D support for immersive visual experiences. The A9s uses high-density connectors that resist dust and vibration, ensuring stable operation in demanding environments. It supports up to 32 groups of parallel RGB data or 64 groups of serial data (expandable to 128 groups), offering flexibility for various LED module configurations. The A9s is configured with an RCFG configuration file loaded through NovaLCT (Screen Configuration, Receiving Card, Load Configuration File, then Save to Hardware). Your module or sign manufacturer supplies the file, or read it back from a working card. Olympian LED hosts a free browser-based RCFGX viewer at olympianled.com/tools/rcfgx-viewer to inspect any config file.
What controllers work with the A9s?
The A9s works with the full NovaStar sending lineup: VX all-in-one controllers, COEX MX controllers, MCTRL sending boxes, and Taurus multimedia players. Match the receiving-card firmware to your driver IC generation.
