The A4s is a compact receiving card developed by NovaStar for standard LED display applications. A single A4s loads up to 256×256 pixels, making it suitable for medium-resolution LED modules and displays. The card features pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration for uniform image quality across the display, individual gamma adjustment for RGB channels to fine-tune color accuracy, and 3D support for immersive visual experiences. The A4s uses high-density connectors that provide excellent resistance to dust and vibration, ensuring stable operation in various installation environments. It supports up to 24 groups of parallel RGB data or 64 groups of serial data (expandable to 128 groups), offering flexibility for different LED module configurations. An economical choice for standard LED display installations requiring reliable performance.

How do I configure the A4s for my LED modules?
The A4s is configured with an RCFG configuration file loaded through NovaLCT (Screen Configuration, Receiving Card, Load Configuration File, then Save to Hardware). Your module or sign manufacturer supplies the file, or read it back from a working card. Olympian LED hosts a free browser-based RCFGX viewer at olympianled.com/tools/rcfgx-viewer to inspect any config file.
What controllers work with the A4s?
The A4s works with the full NovaStar sending lineup: VX all-in-one controllers, COEX MX controllers, MCTRL sending boxes, and Taurus multimedia players. Match the receiving-card firmware to your driver IC generation.
