Is there a Mac version of ViPlex Express?
No. ViPlex Express is Windows-only. Mac users can manage Taurus players with ViPlex Handy on a phone or tablet, or through the VNNOX cloud platform in a browser.
ViPlex Express
ViPlex Express is NovaStar's Windows software for managing Taurus asynchronous multimedia players over the local network. It discovers players on the LAN, publishes images and video to them, builds playlists and schedules, and controls display settings like brightness, volume, and screen status. It has two modes: Studio Mode for live editing of what's on screen, and Async Mode for publishing solutions to many players at once. If you run a TB- or TU-series player, this is the primary desktop tool.

ViPlex Express can't find my Taurus player - what do I check?
Make sure the PC and the player are on the same subnet, the player's Wi-Fi AP or LAN connection is up, and Windows Firewall isn't blocking ViPlex. Then refresh the device list. The default login is admin with password 123456 unless you changed it.
What's the difference between Studio Mode and Async Mode?
Studio Mode edits and plays content live from your PC like a playback console. Async Mode builds a solution (playlist plus schedule), publishes it to the player's storage, and the player runs it standalone afterward.
